Jets-Bills game difficult for color blind fans

    Interesting unintended consequence. Enjoy!

"The NFL's new "Color Rush" campaign introduced an unintended consequence Thursday night: Some colorblind viewers were unable to distinguish between the Buffalo Bills' red uniforms and the New York Jets' green uniforms."

Also, both teams looked like they were wearing footie pajamas.

Those colors clashing with one another looked like it came out of a Krueger nightmare.

Cant wait for the all powder blue Titan unis versus the all gold Jaguar unis next go round.

"Gold" is a generous description for uniforms the approximate color of baby poop.

In the article it said Jags were going to wear an all gold uniform next week. If that's the case, then that game will look like a UCLA intrasquad scrimmage broke out.

As a Jets fan, I really liked the helmets and the color, but the all green look is really hard on the eyes. I think the Jags gold will be really taxing to look at.

I really don't understand all the hoopla about this. Most people affected by red-green color deficiency can still tell the difference between the two colors, as they can still distinguish between shades of the colors. The truly "color blind" in the red-green areas number less than 1% of the entire population, and almost all male. Maybe watching football (a guy thing) attracts all of them? FJPOD or Barry Santini.... wanna jump in here?

P.S. - I thought the uniforms were just plain UGLY.

100% of the blind can't tell the teams apart either...

A simple remedy- Do like I do and turn down the self promoting TV announcers and listen to the much more interesting play by play on the radio!!!

I don't see the issue. If they skew the Hue on their TV enough, it should render the uniforms in colors they can easily see.

Can't they all just prance around in rainbow sequins and their tight little pants?

Leave the ACTUAL football to the ACTUAL football athletes. you know, the ones who kick an ACTUAL football , while sprinting for 90+ minutes...with their FEET.

How's Detroit and Big Pharma going to sell us trucks and Viagra if we are watching an uninterrupted game?

The start and finish of an NFL game is like what- 10 minutes game and 20 minutes of commercials.

    Then call it handball.

And make them play for more than 4 seconds at a time.

those uni's are so bad looking being color blind to seeing that mess would be a plus. I always liked the Bills classic look, the pre red helmet days. Same with the Jets Joe Namath era look.

it will get real ugly Monday night with the Browns new combo mixing in orange pants and the always ugly raven unis (except when they wear all whites)

Don't get me started with NCAA... Nike is satan with what they have done to classic college uni's.

What, you do not like the 87 different combinations that Oregon has?

And while Nike is the provider for the majority of the NCAA, there are some schools (Texas Tech, Maryland, etc) who use Under Armour and other companies to manufacture the jerseys
