We are looking for a Arizona Licensed Dispensing Optician ( must be ADO and NCLE certified)

We are a large family owned sunglass/optical retail store located in Prescott, AZ. We have been in business for 26 years.
Looking for someone to join our team that is personable, motivated, responsible, honest, hard-working and detail-oriented.

Required skills:

* Must be personable and work well with others.
* Taking optical measurements; adjustments and repairs
* Must be able to use a computer and type (yes there are people that cant do either)
* Assist patients in the selection process of glasses, and the delivery and fitting.
* Calculate insurance co-pay based on insurance eligibility
* Process glasses orders and review reports to monitor status on a daily basis
* Ensure patient orders are completed for timely dispensing
* Verify glasses and notify patients for dispensing
* Contact patients for follow up on progress of adapting to dispensed eyewear and prescribed contacts
* Determine patients' current lens prescriptions, when necessary, using Lensometer
* Troubleshoot patient concerns with eye-wear when necessary
* Maintain inventory pertaining to all aspects of the optical retail area, including lab supplies. Report inventory as required
* Maintain displays of optical merchandise.
* Monitor patient flow throughout the office, properly communicating delays
* Evaluate and support implementation of new technology and equipment.
* Provide a safe, clean, organized and inviting environment for both patients and staff
* Maintain compliance with the organization's confidentiality policy in accordance to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA)
* Demonstrate a commitment to Standards of Care and Vision for Life principles
* Perform other duties and assume various responsibilities as determined by the office manager and doctor(s)
