The only difference seems to be the "help" is +.40 instead of +.60
as opposed to the Hoya Sync where it's +.50 and +.80?
Or the Zeiss Digital Lens (worst name choice ever?) where the add is +50 to +1.25
Which are one in the same if you consider Ansi standards and methods for measuring digital PAL's
It doesn't appear to be a Near Variable Focus Lens such as the TACT or the Essilor Computer lens it looks to me to be what they are calling a Single Vision lens with a power boost to help fatigue. Unlike the Essilor Anti Fatigue lens and the Hoya Sync lens the EYEZEN is available in 3 different power boost. +.4, +.6, +.85. Comes with a Blue light filter and eventually will be a package deal that includes an EYEZEN frame.

my observations: Eyezen 1+,
1: I really like them. I don't notice any peripheral blur like I did with the anti fatigue, the distance vision is SUPER awesome, and my eyes are definitely less tired at the end of the day.
2: they SUCK for night driving. the halos and starbursts are wretched. maybe its the new smart blue filter?

what material did you order it in? Did you order them with an antireflective coating? (I know it sounds redundant but have to ask)

I got a pair for myself even though I have a nominal RX. I like to try new things :)
My RX is: OD Plano-0.25X095 OS -0.25-0.25X045. The "bump" is determined by age group so without giving too much of myself away, lol, I picked the .60. I got them with Crizal Sapphire.
So far, I like them ok. I don't get the same "wow" crispness as my other glasses. If I do not wear them consistently I get a warped view at intermediate until my eyes adjust again. Honestly, I prefer my Essilor 360s or my Zeiss Individuals. The scripts are all the same.
I have not seen any issues with night driving.

I have not tried this lens-of-the-month but have found other "Blue Light Filtering AR" specs to have noticeably worse halos and starbursts compared to good "clear" AR for night driving.

I just drove through the Pennsylvania mountains on Hwy 81, 3 days ago in six hours instead of the usual 2.
Light rain, fog and twice ten mile long hold ups with stop and go, In higher altitudes we were right in the clouds and visibility was near zero.
I used my old Blue-Blocker glasses and the visibility was improved by about 300%, believe it or not.
I had a pair of anti-fatigue lenses a few years ago with Avance. They gave me awful headaches in both plastic and poly. I love my blue-techs to death. I notice an improvement even though it's plano.
I don't sell a ton of Blue-Techs for reasons that they are expensive (especially when surfaced), and can be thick in some RXes. However - no tint or AR or anything has had as profound a reaction from those that use them as the Blue Techs. I have created some VERY happy people by fitting them. People that complain about eye strain on the computer love them. I am comparing this to all the other tints I dispense, even the light brown tints or blue blocking tints I'll do for people, nothing gets the same reaction as a Blue Tech office lens, or Blue Tech lens with some prism for convergence help, or even a Blue Tech lens thats plano.
I have a set of Essilor Anti-Fatigue with AR 24, Hoya Sync 8 with Recharge, and Identity Optical's Serenity Now with Titanium AR. The Serenity Now has a +75 which is what I am prescribed and the Titanium AR is what looks and feels like a mild Recharge coating, though they do not advertise it as a blue blocker. That is my favorite pair by far though.

I did the Eyezen +1 in poly with Prevencia. I was kinda on the fence at first but I decided I like them. I would have went with Trivex but that doesn't roll out til some time this summer.
My Rx is +1.00 -.25, +.75 -.25

Did that adjustment cause any discomfort to your eyes?
They did not hurt my eyes so much as it is annoying. I think I prefer a SV lens and will bide my time until I really need a multifocal :)
Same here. I'm just an SV lens person.
We are recommending Eyezen to many of our patients that do not wear a PAL or does not a convergence insufficiency. Everyone that has gotten them love them. Most of our staff have them now and so far the staff and doctor's that have them love them. I am awaiting the roll out of Trivex in Eyezen Plus but I can still get the original Eyezen that came out first in Trivex under special request from our lab.
