    Redhot Jumper 7Ex Chemistrie Lenses

I purchased my 7Ex a few months ago and recently decided to start processing Chemistrie lenses. When I spoke with my rep, I was told I needed a $XXXX program then a $XXX doggle to unlock the software on the edger.

    My questions:

If you're cutting on a 7E or 7Ex, how much did you pay for your doggle?

Can I only purchase the doggle for my 7Ex from National Optronics?

Was anybody else told this from National Optronics?

(editor's note: please only respond with pricing by private message. Wholesale pricing is prohibited as per posting guidelines.)

The 7EX just takes an OMA file with drill points in it. The software they are selling has the ability to created drill points and write those drill points into an OMA file, if you have another piece of software you don't need dongles or the companies software. Shop around, or create your own software.

We did them ourself without the software on our older machine but it is easier with the software to repeat them consistently.
We don't do many but they are easy to do either way; the math is not that hard.

Thanks Craig, you are right it's not very difficult to do on your own. The software is really just for convenience and it does provide consistency and reduces remakes with those goofy errors that sometime creep up if you are not careful.
