kappa edger! help quick! please!
I have a kappa ctd tracer/edger system. However, my tracer has never worked properly. Apparently as per my essilor tech, some internal housing unit within in the tracer is broken, thus my feeler keeps getting "stuck." He told me it needs to be fixed - I said go for it, and haven't seen the guy since. Its been two months. I keep getting the A4 feeler error - and all I can do it fidget around with it until it works, then gets worse...and then it stops working all together, thus I have to call my essilor tech again.
my question is: I have a regular kappa tracer (not ctd) at my disposal. Tracer only. Can I interchange my regular kappa tracer with a kappa ctd edger? They seem virtually the same - I'm pretty sure my kappa tracer wasn't disconnected properly, so probably has the memory of it's previous edger...which I know how to clear. But it is really that simple, that I can plug, re initialize, and be good to go?
PLEASE let me know, my tracer is on its way as we speak!
