SMART DRILL....., can any one give me insight??

I've been using a Smart Drill. I like this drill press. My issue is after I edge the lens. I mount the lens with my block on the drill adapters and lock it down. I've had this same issue with all 3 of my edgers. I run Santinelli 1000 exp. ,santinell 7070,and a Optronics 7E HLP. So my issue is: I drill my lens and it seems off looks like the right lens is slightly NASAL UP and the left eye looks right. This happens on all three edgers and they all look exactly the same amount off. If I grab the Lens and twist right lens nasal down and left eye nasal up. I've messed with it and can't seem to get it right. If anyone has had this issue please let me know. The axis is always within 1 degree. Any help will be much appreciate.

I would do an axis calibration on the 7E and use the pattern blank to align the smart drill. Cut a series of holes along the scribe line on the pattern blank both nasal and temporal. This will give you more of a mechanical verification as opposed to eyeballing. Remember that 1 degree off can increase in error along a tangent line. The drill adapters can be adjust for axis and hole height
