Younger Optics Announces Availability of Transitions® Signature™ VII Polycarbonate Composite Flat Top 28 Bifocal Lenses:
NEW LENS FILLS PREVIOUS GAP IN THE AVAILABILITY OF TRANSITIONS® LENSES

Torrance, Calif., August 2015 – Now more bifocal wearers can enjoy the unsurpassed photochromic performance of Transitions® Signature™ VII lenses. Developed jointly by Transitions Optical and Younger Optics, Transitions Signature VII polycarbonate composite flat top 28 lenses are now available, offered to the market exclusively by Younger Optics through their lab customers.

Innovation in new product development is a cornerstone of the long-standing partnership that exists between Younger Optics and Transitions Optical. David Rips, Younger Optics president and CEO, says, “Our dedicated research and development teams were able to develop a polycarbonate composite lens that incorporates a unique photochromic front surface made of Trivex®, delivering Transitions Signature VII performance in a product that is surfaced, polished, edged and dispensed just like a clear polycarbonate lens.”
