I got guided to find out how the optical industry is now making prescription work in those new monster labs, fully or near fully automatised installations.

What a change to one of the most modern labs I once owned when the Coburn Family broke the domination by American Optical and Bausch & Lomb.
They can go from mass production to Rx Service.

They must make good stuff to have all those companies as customers

They have been in Pech for years and offer amazing automation of some tasks; it is great for uncuts and ensuring lenses are accurate. It is of no help in finishing and if you run them thru a factory; you get factory results consistently.

That is the difference between the majority of the world and what we offer our clients. If you want to remain independent and add value to what you offer this is the best way we know of.
