    provencia and polarized

A patient came in and requested this combination. Well, I dont see why not it would make a stunning lens. After all when you put it on transisiton and it turns dark it looks hot as a purple flash no? So I call my lab and they don't say no but give me a myriad of reasons they wont. It would change the color of the final product, it's a superior product to the actual product that essilor wants us to put on the polarized lens and they dont want opticials requesting a product they sunk a trillion dollars in marketing to push on the public only to have it fail. You feel me dawg?! Comon man! Im getting tired of the BS. Thanks for listening

Our lab wouldn't do it either. They don't put a "blue light lessening" product, utilized indoors, on an outdoor product.

I asked that myself. As a lab producing Prevencia, I was confused as to why Polarized lenses are not on the approved Crizal Prevencia product list. I asked my Essilor lab rep, and got a similar response to mdeimler.

I've done two polar jobs with Hoya's Recharge on it. One went back to lab due to patient dissatisfaction, the other left with no problem.
