Can she support anything on her nose?
    Is her face symmetrical?
Was any part of her facial structure removed?

She had surgery that cut her from the top of her forehead, right down the middle of her nose. The skin was then pulled down, over her nose and reattached. This is why her left eyebrow is now in the left nose pad location on her nose. Laser will remove the eyebrow and she will have a tatooed one put above her left eye. As you can see she is very sensitive on her nose area. Her main concern is reading. At the moment she is holding up her reading glasses, which is very trying. I have located a lorgnette, that has a 7 inch handle on it. It would make it easier, for her to rest her elebow on something and use the lorgnette for reading. BUT I am asking, you guys for any other suggestions that might work better.

Would something like this help? I ordered one a few years ago for a Pt. and he never picked it up. Brand new, still in box. If it would work, let me know.

It's an elastic strap about 3/8" wide that goes around the head with a foam lined pad in the front with a plastic hook that goes down and holds up the bridge of the glasses. Try the link below.

As I recall, we paid about $15 - $20. Shipping to Canada looks to be about $12. $30 (American) and it's all yours. If your Pt isn't interested, no hard feelings.

Have you considered a semi-rim frame install a head-band, remove the nosepads or adjust then to sit against patient's forehead and extend the B to compensate.
