    Surfacing costs

    Hi,
After much deliberation as to whether we (as a glazing outfit) should move into surfacing im trying to work the cost of surfacing a pair of lenses into my viability calculations.
These have been estimated as being anywhere between £1.25 and £2.00 (on top of the blanks), and i would appreciate any impartial advice as to what would be a reasonable figure to expect.
    Thanks.
    Rick

A lot will depend on just how you plan to do such as fining.
£2.00 sounds about right for consumables.
Cant say how much we pay for pads as i'm on holiday....
I guess you are talking "Plastic" here.
