Patients complaining on Vantage Poly AR lenses...

Lately my patients started to complaining on Vantage Poly AR lenses.
Simply because even in colder weather they dont get as dark as their older Transitions or Sunsensors with AR.
Does anybody else has the same problem? could it be from newer AR coatings? Would backside only AR make sense?

So far I haven't had any patient complaints about the Vantage. In fact, I've found that they really enjoy the polarization of Vantage over the depth of color that you could get out of Trans VII 1.67 or CR39. Although I'm by no means a master optician, it would make sense that AR of any kind would allow more transmission of light causing the lenses to actually be darker, but I could be wrong.

We use and wear trivex Vantage Ar with no problems. I just did a custom pair with a black mirror and a gradient tint; they look awesome and they are for one of my frame reps.

Does anyone know if Vantage has been "upgraded" since it's release?
Are people still having trouble with the poly vantage?

    Thanks!

No trouble on my end with Poly Vantage. The only complaint I hear about them is how slow they are to go clear in the winter here. ( I'm in Alaska so that's expected...)
