A fool and their money...
Doesn't look like their going to get the 75K by 5/31.
which means the cost to us will be greater. But don’t worry; those costs will not be passed on to you.
I never would want to revel in mocking someone's dream but almost all of those glasses are ugly.
The idea itself is interesting.....the problem as Tallboy mentioned, is the frames are UGLY and borderline FUBAR

I love new ideas and kinda wish this one was viable, but I didn't see a single frame that fit properly on any of those faces. I mean not one.
"Does anybody know a way I can buy numerous ugly frames? They have to be expensive and I really need to make sure I run the risk of breaking them and or losing parts of them." Said no patient ever.
I think this is one of the few times we all agree on something.
Bedrock Eyewear, designed by Pebbles Flintstone.
I didn't attend the funeral, but I sent a nice letter saying I approved of it. Mark Twain
this could not be serious. perhaps started as an april fools prank?
If it is a prank, it has pranked people into contributing $3000 thus far....well short of the $75000 she wants to get this project going

I feel the idea has merit.. but the design.... Ugh...

Honestly I hope they improve, I've shown this to a few friends and a good number of them were rather excited by the idea.

This not a new idea.... a company came out with this (it's been over 20yrs) It was set like Swatch...the kit was very expensive. I remember the frames looking better than this though. It sounded good on paper, but the general public just didn't go for it.
We all have seen this concept in various forms over the years, it never catches on. Interchangeable temples, bespoke frame kits, etc...
I didn't look if thier were bio's on the founders but they really should have consulted with a seasoned opticians or a frame designer or something. Waste of a lot of energy and money for these people IMO.
They would have been better off creating interchangeable shoe soles or something
