I'm building a vision testing app for the iPad, Eye Chart Professional, with a whole bunch of new features.

Good point. We've been following Blink, which seems like an application of MIT's Eye Netra technology.

Eye Chart Professional is designed as a simple, portable tool for professionals. It isn't our goal to provide exams to patients.
