    Transmission through multiple lenses

Can anybody give a quick to estimate the % light transmittance through multiple glass lenses. Say I stack two flat (say 2 base curve) gray 3 glass lenses (each allowing 10-15% transmission), how much light would be transmitted through the stack?

    If they're 15% tint each

    First lens would allow 15%
Second lens would allow 15% of 15% which is 2.25%
Third lens would be 15% of 2.25% while is 0.3375%

None of the is including any other variables which would lower transmittance even more.

Thanks. Intuitively that was my guess...but I wasn't sure. Thanks for the response!

You also lose about 2% per surface due to reflections on an uncoated lens.
