need help with my Santinelli 9000 edger

lately it's giving me an intermittent error of:

205 (LMU DATA IS ABNORMAL DATA OF LENS SHAPE MEASUREMENT IS ABNORMAL)

OR

204 (AFTER THE LENS IS TRACED FRONT SIDE CANNOT BE MEASURED)

Usually restarting, calibration and/or waiting a day to restart fixes the glitch but it's becoming more of an issue.....

Any ideas on what is startingto go bad (i.e Tracer, front/back probes arm or something else???)

LMU is not moving freely or bumping into block or leap pad on block or LMU may have worn tips causing the error.

Try contacting Bill at thefinishinglab.com he was a santinelli tech before opening his business and always helpful when I call.

I don't see the tips touching any part of the leap pads when tracing, but it does seem to occur on small PDs and lens sizes. One of the tips (front surface) is cracked slightly, but it's been like that for years.

The cracked tip will be the first thing Santinelli tells you to fix before troubleshooting anything.
