We currently have a Regional Sales Analyst career opportunity at our Dallas, TX location.

POSITION PURPOSE:


The Regional Sales Analyst will be responsible for providing the VP of Sales, Director of Sales Operations and Regional Sales organizations with detailed analysis and reporting to support the decision-making process in a variety of projects, mainly Regional support and analysis. This includes providing & creating new sales metrics and providing meaningful analysis in regards to how effective it impacts sales. This position is also responsible for updating Management with independent analysis of incentive compensation and sales optimization.


The RSA is responsible for the collection, analysis, and reporting of sales related data in an on-going effort to increase overall sales productivity. The RSA will collect sales records and evaluate sales performance based on sales goals while taking into consideration current economic, market and regional conditions. In addition the RSA will lead development of new Key Performance Indicators that tie to activities which will be critical to enhance the understanding of the business and improve decision making.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES


• Provide leading and lagging indicator reports and analysis regarding sales efficiency to sales management, sales consultants and other departments.
• Analysis of Sales Processes, Productivity, Sales efficiency, and Sales Optimization
• Collect, analyze, evaluate and report data in order to increase sales productivity.
• Collect sales records and trends while evaluating performance against Regional Goals.
• Analyze sales and performance records, interpret results of overall sales, recommend changes based on Regional performance.
• Assist management in developing and reviewing the sales budget and rolling forecast including sales to budget variance.
• Analyze lines of business (products, services etc.) to determine profitability and to establish a baseline for action.
• Guide Sales Consultants in entering accurate forecast in our CRM or outside tool, generate reports for forecast and collaborate forecast into weekly reports.
• Analyze results and set up reports containing respective conclusions, ideas and general guidance.
• Generate ad hoc reporting for Sales, Marketing and Pricing as needed outside of CRM.
• Prepare proposal data drafts, ensuring that content meets regional requirements, internal and legal standards.
• Provide customized reporting and recommendations in support of ongoing business decisions and initiatives.
• Conduct quantitative analysis including but not limited to ROI, trending, identification and assessment of opportunities and risk, forecasting, regressions, correlation, cannibalization and probability modeling.
• Communicate results to key stakeholders in order to support informed business decisions by providing in-depth analysis and recommendations.
• Participation in Regional Business Financial Reviews.
• Develop metrics around Sales Force Effectiveness such as # calls to close deal, Customer retention ratio, Expenses vs. Results, etc.
• Responsible for Regional Sales Calls activity reporting and production of Regional Scorecards.
• Provide analysis on territory & sales realignments including what-if modeling, open territory analysis.
• Produces Sales Analytic presentations for Regional and National Management.


Skills, Knowledge & Abilities
• Strong modeling techniques and analytical skills with advanced PC skills (emphasis on MS Applications especially Excel and Access) and the ability to adapt to new systems and applications quickly
• Strong problem solving skills with demonstrated ability to find solutions without specific step-by-step instructions
• High level of technical understanding and hands on experience including dealing with complex data systems and processes
• Effectively communicates with and engage all levels of the organization verbally and in writing, with the ability to build effective partnerships across teams
• Ability to managing multiple tasks and projects while delivering results in a timely manner
• Excellence in attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to successfully achieve set deadlines
• Skilled at working as a contributing team member and individually on set projects
• Aptitude to understand and create measurements


Experience and Qualifications
• BBA, BAS, BBS
o 3 + years successful experience in a similar analytical roles - Business analysis, sales analysis
• Experience with CRM/ICM tools and SAP
• Experience in, and a demonstrated understanding of sales compensation plans and compensation analysis and metrics.
