We are seeking energetic, confident, and professional people just like YOU. We have created a cool, hip, and edgy optical store that is unlike any in the region. This is a store where people come to buy eyeglasses not because they have to but because they WANTOverview of the Position:

• FIRST AND FOREMOST!!! Have outstanding selling skills. This includes a proven sales record and the ability to sell premium eyewear to both insured and self-pay customers.
• Provide exceptional service: Work with customers to ensure they feel welcome and have an amazing shopping experience at Eye Candy Optical.
• Be a confident consultant: Provide style consulting and help our customers choose the best glasses for their personal style, face, and lifestyle.
• Inform customers: plain speakTalk to everyone: Communicate well with customers, O.D.s, vendors, and fellow Eye Candy team members.
• Know your stuff:Know our stuff: Our brands and styles are UNIQUE; know them inside and out. You must be able to talk with confidence about all of our product lines (lenses, frames, and services).
• Be accurate: Make certain that the eyewear you sell is PERFECT in terms of optics, aesthetics, and fit before our clients leave the store.
• Get the little things right: Be detail-oriented in every aspect of store operations. This includes all facets: product selection, sales, cleanliness of merchandise and all customer/back office spaces.

Key requirements:

• Be licensed: ABO licensed in the State of Ohio. Contact lens license is a plus.
• Be a CLOSER: Love your customers and love selling.
• Be tech savvy: Know your way around a PC; experience in My Vision Express software or similar practice management software is a plus.
• Be willing to learn: Embrace new technology, processes, and systems. We are always improving.
• Be flexible: Able and willing to work days, evenings, and weekends. Weekend and evening work is required and expected.
• Be on time: Have solid and reliable transportation.
• Be clean: Eye Candy Optical is a Drug Free Workplace.
• Be trustworthy: Background checks are a requirement for employment.
• Be a fan: Wear eyewear everyday (nonprescription OR prescription). Know our products by using our products.
