    Darkest Brown Photochromic

What do you think gets darker in BROWN photochromic progressives?
    T6, T7, Sunsensors, Photoview, LifeRx?
Does it make a difference If it's in plastic or poly?
    Help.
I am good with grey just got list in brown......

The signature series transitions is true brown, so what representation/hue of brown are you looking for.

Just got a pair of trivex in grey and one in brown transitions and the brown sucks. It barely works and just tried it to see if it was any better and it is not when compared to the grey. It barely changes and I do not wear that pair.

Were they X-Cel Hoya or Younger blanks?

Maybe post this observation in the Younger Forum and see what they say?

It was a Younger Camber actually and the lens is great for reading. The IOT design is very good and our new lens of choice.

I have a Camber with a T7 Brown in 1.67 and it works as well as any other T7 brown I have. Unsure why Trivex would be any different.

All the T7 Browns, in every material, are as dark and pretty a Brown as I've ever seen.

Craig I bet you got a bad batch or something. Its both lenses?

Trans in CR-39 is Tintable, but the Photofusion BROWN is darker than Trans VII Brown in my pairs.

(you neglected to mention Photofusion above)

Went outside in the afternoon and morning with bright sun to no avail; they do not get dark enough for me to wear or sell. I do wear every other transitions product including: active, vantage, and transitions polarized along with regular grey with no problems.

I guess its in the eye of the beholder than! We've had terrible success with patients not liking the Vantage, and they all love the new brown! Especially the farmers!

Don't understand...Camber with brown should have same characterists as any other T7 Brown..which are generally quite good, although the eye always sees equal densities of brown as being lighter than its gray equivalent.
