Why is this no bueno? Sharpview is ok after tinting a poly lens but crizal is to snooty to be sullied by such filth or is it incompatible after tinting? Is there some more nefarious explanation?

Incompatible sadly. And the Crizal family isn't the only one to say nay to tints. The Sharpview+ bond is different (hence the lower scratch resistance as well).
Crizal uses TD2 as the base to put their AR on top of. TD2 is a lacquer type coating (as are other brands top scr resistant AR's) which is harder and won't absorb dyes.
Tinting poly is not really tinting the lens itself it's tinting the dye absorbent SRC. Basic ARs can just be applied over factory SRC, so you just tint then coat. All Crizal process involves only bare lenses stripped of any existing factory SRC first (to eliminate surface variables of different manufacturers' coatings), then applying non-absorbent TD2 to provide a predicatable coating surface, then applying the AR stack. There is nothing to hold the tint in that lens.
