Does anyone know if 1.74 is available in single vision polarized?

I believe 1.67 is the best you can do.

1.74 is a challenge to coat, so its probable will won't see the Polar 1.74 for some time, as the polar layer will make coating even more challenging.

According to a letter received in the office last week, Signet Armorlite offers 1.74 polarized.

Any more news on this lens? Is it even more of a headache than normal 1.74? When will Zeiss have one????

Signet does currently offer 1.74 polar but it is only available uncoated. I haven't used it but if I did want to try it, I would probably order it out and add some layers. Maybe with a mirror + backside AR combo it will hold up?
Have I told you today how much I hate poly?

I find it odd that only Signet offers this lens, not that they aren't a decent company but I am super picky with my 1.74 anyway because I've had terrible runs of coating defects before. I'll wait until some of you guys use it first!
