Blue Jumper Looking for a vintage line ..

    Hi all!
I am looking for a vintage line to add to our optical. We are looking for a line that has some very retro styles. I am also looking for a line that semi resembles the "steam punk" theme. Any advice on what we can add?
    Thanks !

Seraphin, Europa (Scott Harris), Kio Yamato (O&X) both line have some cool classics, Masunaga, Lafont, and...
I didn't attend the funeral, but I sent a nice letter saying I approved of it. Mark Twain

Matsuda has a Model that has leather(or faux-leather) side cups. the M3032, and the M3030.
The steakpunk style if im not mistaken is based in victorian era style. so small round gold or brass colored frames i would lean toward. old style welders glasses with leather or mesh side cups/ chambers. ive had a couple through my lab this year.

I second Matsuda. It's "accessible" steam punk, so you'll sell more than just to the people who want giant sideshields.

Thanks Paul! I have worked with Seraphin and Europa, theo, lafont, etc.. and i love those lines, however, i am really looking for something more authentic than modern meets authentic. I will check out Kio and Masunaga.. i have never heard of them before! I really appreciate your reply! :)

another thing i thought of last night, assuming you have someone in the lab who can critically rate a frames durability, you might look into acquiring antique frames from the public. for example a friend of mine from high school bought a pair of VERY old small round frames. it was beat up but had a great patina on the brass. the temple screws were stripped but he bought some small copper coated nuts and bolts and used them to add to the steam punk stylization of the piece. needless to say you should sell these without warranty, due to their age. just a thought.
