Independent Opticians currently subleasing to an OD...(FYI - we're a two door-state law)
What does your agreement/contract with the OD consist of? Do you have a template you can share with me?
What kind of agreement do you have in terms of Monthly Sublease Fees, utilities, equipments & maintenance? I would like to know if the OD is being reasonable or not. Do you provide the Practice management System?
Reasonable is different for every situation and varies with the lease holder's attitude.
Make the lease very easy to break for both parties, no need for either party to feel married unnecessarily.
I would do a generic template month to month lease with the symbiotic relationship details verbally.
