Looking for beta users for a new Cloud based EHR

    Hi,

I represent a startup that has built an EHR for Eyecare. It is a full featured EMR that is accessible via any browser. Supports Billing and Orders. FramesData and ePrescription integrations are available. Other features include Scheduler, Mail-merge Documents, reports etc.

Although the system has been extensively tested, I hope to get it tested by "real" users before the actual market launch. As a thank you for beta testing, you would get discounted pricing upon launch.

    Thank you.
    Ankur

I would certainly be interested in testing your product, but if you are in the beta phase, are you HIPPA compliant when transmitting the data through the cloud? Are you configured to do any insurance billing?

I would be happy to test your product via my home network (8 stations, 1 printer), but for "real world" testing, I have a hard time believing anyone can operate for a period of time in business on beta software that wont integrate back in to their old/new software if they end up not using the software.

    Hello 9520g,

It is not uprise. But feels good to hear that the feature list is big enough that it is being compared to existing products in the market.

    Thanks.

    Hello ThatOneGuy,

I am glad you brought up this question. The Application is hosted on windows Azure platform and uses SSL to transmit data safely back and forth. That said, data at rest is not encrypted at this time.

Please PM me your contact details so I can demo the product and get you setup for testing.

    Thanks,
    Ankur

It is nearly impossible to get someone to adopt a replacement system that does not have a proven track record. Beta testing a new application would require running it and an existing production application simultaiously. Hardly worth the duplicate effort. Why dont you just release it as is and call it Version 5.1. You will get all the feedback that you need.

    Hello rbaker,

I agree it would be difficult to use two systems but that said all I need is one week worth of testing. The system has been tested extensively already. I am less worried about the stability of the system but more about any major feature that I might have missed or any workflow that is difficult to follow.

I do know some EHR systems have been launched without much testing in the past, wasting valuable customer time and effort. I would hate to launch this new product like that and gather negative publicity.

If you have some spare moment, I would be happy to show a quick demo.

    Thanks,
    Ankur
