Optician / Optical Sales Associate
South of Boston.
We are looking for a part-time optician, licensed or not-licensed, who will work ~20-30 hours per week. Our optician is responsible for guiding patients through the selection of eye glasses.
Job Responsibilities
· Provide education about eyewear to patients.
· Provide style consulting to patients as they select the best eyeglasses for their personal style.
· Take measurements of eyewear.
· Adjust, fit and repair eyewear for patients.
· Edge lenses for selected frames.
· Enter customer information into electronic point of sale system.
Experience
· A minimum of one year of experience as an optician, licensed or not-licensed.
· Motivated and organized individual.
· Great communication skills and computer competency.
· Knowledge of vision plan desired but not required, willing to train the right individual.
