Anybody use only one brand of PALs (but different tiers/designs of that brand)?

I enjoy having a lot of different choices to suit the needs of the patient. What's good for the goose might not be good for the gander. If someone has been in a particular progressive and likes the mechanics of the lens why change? If someone's never been in a progressive but has specific needs, the comfort enhanced may not work as well as the definity or the physio. If a patient has trouble with corridor length and suffers from eye strain getting into the reading why not put them in a unity with a shorter corridor that I can customize for their needs. I guess im saying, in a round about way, no, I don't have a specific brand loyalty. There are exceptions : if the boss gets a kick back and says were switching brands, then Huzzah! Everyone gets that!
98% Shamir from the Genesis to the Autograph III
I didn't attend the funeral, but I sent a nice letter saying I approved of it. Mark Twain
99% Varilux Comfort / DRx / Enhanced.

Anything not made by Essilor
Digital eye lab works for me, I ve had great success with the g-pal.
Give Vision-Ease Novel, Novella and Narrative a try. They work really good for us. We also use Varilux prn.
No specific brand loyalties here. I look at the complete picture when deciding what lens to use. Insurance, lab, rx, patient needs all get factored in.
Disclaimer:I was a rep for Crizal who helped launch the product in a former life and we never use that product in name but in practice we do utilize the same technology. The thought process is the same as below.
We use the Eyetopian Progressive as chosen by me after the patient has left the store and we evaluate the choices once we trace the frame. We do not tell anyone what lens design they are getting and normally material is not discussed at all either. We do what is best available for the situation! Normally we use an IOT lens (one version only-not 3 choices) but now offer the Camber when we can. I have limited availability on the Camber so it is only on clear and regular transitions with smaller ED's that we can use this design. Super high powers get what we can get!! We may do anything!
I just did 5 pairs for a lady and 2 ended up being Camber with the others being IOT Advanced. Why would you promote a brand over yourself? We have specialized in Eyetopian Lenses for the past 16 years and that is what our clients expect it to evolve as it makes sense with no choice ever given to the customer other than tint, a transitions product or polarized; but that is enough to talk about after a $600-$2,500+++ frame they can't wait to get.
Sell the sizzle not the meat!
please check out my new pair of glasses for $55,000+!!

Craig, your post-sale lens selection intrigues me. How do you know what to charge before the patient leaves? Do you simply have a one-price bundle? Or a set of bundle prices based on Rx strength? Does the patient pick between 'good/better/best' price points? AR included, +/-Transitions?
Personally I'm about 90% Shamir. 9% of the other would be due to quirky insurances. I'm having a very hard time finding something the InTouch doesn't excel at. I'm not specifically loyal to them other than what I'm using works, both for the patient and our practice.
Shamir. It has nothing to do with loyalty - I get nothing from them. Their products work GREAT!

I follow the same thought process as Craig. People don't care what type of lens they are getting they simply want them to work.

As the owner I want the lens to work on the first try on. As the patient you want the lens to work at the first try on. After researching lens designs, staring at lens maps and way too many years in the industry I have no loyalty to lens brands. I use the lens that best fits the needs of the patient and will gain the best profit for my office.
