Anyone know of a source for reliable, QUALITY eyeglass chains? I've only seen junk and don't carry any even though we get plenty of requests

I personally like the crafted ones. A good chainmaille artist can provide great quality in a wide variety of materials. PM me with what price range you want and quantity. I have a couple of ideas :)

Do you want strictly chains, or do you want beaded, necklace (hole) type?

La Loop.
We HAD LaLoop. Service was EXCEPTIONALLY EXCEPTIONALLY EXCEPTIONALLY rude, ignorant, and rude. Quality was not as good as expected on any of their chains retailing for less than $200...and lets face it, people are used to paying $10 for an eyeglass chain. If they shell out $100 or so, they think they are getting the Rolls Royce of eyeglass chains, and are really just getting a Saab.
So, ideally I'm looking for something that does not fall apart and something that secures that glasses so they don't fall out (a problem I had with LaLoop) that would retail for $30 - $70. Ropes, chains, and straps.
Well, you might want to look a what Cinzia has to offer. There are a handful of eyewear necklaces in the jewelry section and a few more in the clearance section. Or, you could contact a local bead shop and contract for your own.
I was actually thinking along these lines. I know where I can get some different types of eyeglass holder components and make different styles for a reasonable price. The issue with LaLoop I think is simply based on the open hole design. If you have thin temples, then this style doesn't work. Slips off too easily. Thicker might be better. I have also thought about a couple of ways to possibly secure the temple in the ring. Give me a good excuse to order some more supplies in!
