Replacing a patients outdated pair of specs today, I quoted her up on what it would be if she was looking for the same treatments as her old pair, including her transitions.

She asked if she could give the transitions a miss and when I asked her if there was something she disliked about them (I was expecting a "They don't turn into sunglasses in the car!" answer) she, rather sheepishly, replied by telling me that if she wanted to sneak out of the office for a bit during the day, the transitions would become a tell-tale sign and she had started getting caught out by her bosses.

Other than that she really liked the transitions a lot, but I guess the compromise must be worth staying under the radar for that coffee break down at Starbucks :hammer:

At least it gave me a bit of a chuckle hehe

We had that exact situation happen in our office. Pat. gets Trans. comes back a week later asking for re-make due to the fact her boss could tell if she had been outside due to the Trans.
