Aloha, I'm having some issues with an old Briot axcell tracing unit. I'm trying to get in into the diagnostic mode, but it seems like many of the functions are gaurded, or blacked out, to be accessed only by a Briot tech.
unfortunately, Briot techs don't seem to exist anymore, or at least, (since i bought the unit second hand) have no interest in helping me.
Theres a button with a goofy little optician and a wrench on it, that asks for a code to be entered. I'm sure with the right code, I'd be able to access the full gamut of diagnostic/repair functions on the unit.
Any of you Optigods happen to know what that secret code might be? Maybe youve used an axcell years ago and it was the last 6 digits of the serial number, or its Briot's main adress in france.....
Theres nothing in manual, and Briot is no help at all.
