Setting up an Exam Room

I have had my own Dispensary for a couple of years and all is great, just steady away. I am an Optician and have wrestled with the idea of having an Eye Doctor work with me, I feel to progress it will be a great thing even if only one day a week. However to set up an exam room for an Eye Doctor I don't have is daunting. I feel if I was to gather equipment bit by bit will be more cost effective, I also prefer an old school type of office so not too many mod cons here. But worry Eye Doctors want all the fancy stuff nowadays

All that aside, what advice could anyone give me, should I find an Eye Doctor who will to work with me first or risk setting up a room blindly and the fact that it's not workable for someone?
