Does anyone have any info on what type of Progressive lens they're using? $295.00 for frames and lenses is quite a high price considering it's an internet vendor.

Well its full backside, with AR and poly. But that could mean any lens out there.
They also claim toWe use predictive technology to determine segment height based on your individual prescription, as well as your desired frame shape and size.
I see warby parker declining in the next few years.
That's the markup required to cover the cost of a much higher rate of returns and refunds compared to single vision.
I can come close to that price and get it right the first time, but the inexperienced eyeglass wearing population hasn't figured that one out yet. The shortage of adequately trained B & M opticians isn't helping.
I suppose WP and others will always have a niche market centered around folks who have a very high tolerance for blur and headaches. The aging population is not their friend.

That may be true Chris but correct me if I'm wrong- I believe they've yet to figure out how to make a profit on the venture capitalists money.

Pick one or two- you for sure won't get 3 in better than otc readers eye wear.
I believe they are using the Ideal from E in poly with AR that looks like Sharpview!
At least thats what I saw on the patient.

In progressive lenses ,how can they take exact measurments ; Pd , Pupilary hight , how will they adjust Phanto , vertex ,wrap ,match base curves with their old lenses, match corridor lenth or even progressive design? How will they adjust the temples so the eyeglasses doesn"t slip on their nose?
What is this "predictive technology " scam ? We"ve seen patients comming into our stores asking for adjustments after buying this online eyewear from the USA.
lenny good call...
warby p is contracted to trisupreme(who has sharpview)
that why tri supremes quality has gone down the tubes, they are too busy doing contract work(trisupreme is actually overwhelmed with wp work)
they are only one lab of many doing this, as wp is on fire right now
WP just announced they're opening an office here in Nashville. It's all anyone is talking about in the Music City. (UGH.) Have had more Rx verification calls from WP in the last 2 weeks then we have in the entire time we've been open. I'm choosing to see it as an opportunity to educate the patient when they inevitably return to our office with their WP's. I'm also documenting each patient that orders from them so when we see them next year we can ask their opinion.
I can't answer your question but I had someone come in with a pair and the seg height was about 4 mm too high, IDK how they arrive at a seg height over the internet!
