    Now now now,

I've huffed...er...used (for lenses mind you) Acetone for many years and it will neither cause kidney, liver or brain damage. How do I know this you ask? Because I'm completely normal that's why :) Why just the other day I asked my invisible friend Aknod if he thought I was crazy and he said "Absolutely not!" only he said it in some strange tongue I didn't really understand , but I could tell what he meant.

Why are you all staring at me? Oh yeah. Like you don't have any invisible friends that you hang around with!?! Oh look. Now you've done it! Aknod is crying. The last time he did this it took me three trips through the space/time continuim and back to get him to stop. Thanks people! Geesh! :)

    Liver problems

Who ever heard of an optician with a liver that wasn't shot from alcohol anyway. Most of us (who keep the same optical career) die of pancreatic cancer (for which there is no cure) anyway.

P.S. If you ask you lab to send these lenses without markings, I am sure that they will be happy to do so. This will mean that you will have to become more adept at finding and spotting "invisible" markings on the lenses for a verification and allignment.

    Hey Off Axis,

I use D natured Alcohol which is allot stronger than your rubbing alcohol but weaker than acetone. Any hardware store will stock it.
