    interactive Silhouette shape chart

Why isn't there one?! I'm looking for a unisex shape in a 49 eye. Strong enough for a man, but made for a woman. I found 7660 but that doesn't come pre packaged in a 49. Make one myself you say? Of course, that would be Occam's Razor, but the boss wants something that can be ordered from the company that the staff and the lab doesn't have to think about. I can appreciate that. The fewer moving parts in a machine the fewer things will go wrong. Would someone please be so kind as to recommend a unisex 49 eye silhouette shape OR create an interactive Silhouette shape chart so I can find one myself.

    Thanks

P.S. I tried searching through This board to see if there were any other posts like this, My appy ologies if there are that I missed.

You can browse through all the shapes at silhouette.com, even do virtual try-on. It's a cumbersome site but everything is there (except probably all the legacy shapes, but you lab might not have those either).

You can also use any shape of any frame that you may have. It's not rocket science here.

Aye, but not all shapes are unisex, and some sizes are unflattering. I found a decent pattern - 7611 49 eye. I think that wraps it up, thanks all.

I did not know that a lens shape had a gender. Which ones are AC and which ones are DC?
