    Health Canada has issued a warning about purchasing non-prescription coloured contacts from drug stores:

    Shopper's Drug Mart has recalled the lenses, as have two large department chains.

    yes, found the article in Flare mag, saying shoppers drug and other drug stores sell non-prescription colored contacts at cosmetic counters......we jumped on the band wagon here in halifax and phoned around so far no contacts found.... will keep our eyes open though. As for presciption and non prescription lenses being under different regs.... i think we need to do something about that. Rx or Plano, still c/l material being placed on eye
