How to replace the lenses in BYWP frame without Clips on the hinges?

My patient brought the new BYWP frame which dosn't have clips on the hinges to replace the lenses. Is there anyone who can explain how to replace the lenses in BYWP without clips on the hinges?

    Thank you.

Kinda hard to tell from the picture but it looks like an IC Berlin. Try holding the front securely while twisting the temple. That's how the ICs open anyway.

Now, Don't quote me, ive never worked with this particular brand and it may be worth a phone call to the manufacturer but it looks like you twist the temple to release it and the eye wire separates allowing you to put in the lens. It appears to be an inline or grooved lens. The temple design looks much like an Ovo frame, but most of the ovos have a barrel screw. This is all just a guess from the pic. Your mileage may vary.

Does anyone have instructions for these frames? They are not like the ic! Berlin hinges.

The "regular" BYWP's use a special tool which pushes the middle prong of the 3 pronged temple out of the clip, after which you can pull the clip out and then release the lenses. My practice stopped ordering BYWPs in place of IC!Berlins and we've been selling a lot more as a result.

Thank you! I am assuming you have to get these tools from the manufacturer? Do you know if it's possible to use anything as a substitute?

Just recently replaced lenses in this style frame. Used a plastic tool from silhouette pushed between hinge to expand then used a nylon slip that you use with groove jobs to work the frame over the lense. I wouldn't take temples apart as I did initially and it was hell to get back together!!😕
