Question about the iRx Pro Progressive from Essilor (ECCA branded lens)

    Hey all,

I am with Visionworks now, and just wanted to better understand the Myfocal progressive lenses we sell. Doing a search, I see that the Myfocal is the Essilor iRx Pro, that I think is now just sold through ECCA.

Does anyone have any technical data on the lens? I have used the "Progressive addition lenses - measurements and ratings" guide from Optometry (January, 2006) for years as a good way to compare progressives in distance area, channel width, near width, etc. but the iRx Pro is not on that list. I'm looking for something quantitative, if it's out there.

    Thanks so much,
    William

I believe iRX used a Kodak Navigator... but since all iRX people have fallen to the Borg, it will probably remain unconfirmed. Unless you can find an old rep for Specialty Eyewear (Who used to make iRX).
