Marketing Ideas - Post Cards Mailing Promotion

Optical Shops - I will be mailing a post card to residents using USPS EveryDoorDirectMail. I would like to have 3 promotional coupons, when customers bring in their eyeglasses prescription. What kind of promotion do you recommend? Any advice will be appreciated.

99$ special. single vision, select frames (for instance modern optical frames), scratch, uv. 1 year limited warranty. 149$ special FT28, ditto last. 199$ special progressive ditto last. limited warranty covers everything except for loss or theft. and they have to bring us all three pieces of the frame ( front and both temples)

some stuff weve done in the past, dunno if it'd fit with y'all or not.

cant remember if im allowed to post prices, Mod lemme know if i need to change it.

Must specify price not % off
    Something has to be free.

    These work for us!

EDDM is pretty good. We send 10 to 15 thousand every month. Biggest drawback is having to deliver them to the post office that services each individual zipcode.

$100 off complete pair. A % off doesn't seem to grab them as much as a dollar amount. It's hard to relate to a percent. But OMG, a HUNDRED dollars off of a pair of glasses! Wow!

Sometimes we would do multiple coupons on a larger card and let them choose which one they wanted to use. Usually 50% off frames with lens purchase, 25.00 off Transitions, 25.00 off Non glare lenses and always "Free lens cleaning kit".

Thank you for the feedbacks. I am offering 3 promotions on a card, and the customer can choose one.
    1. Free Single Vision lenses with any designer frame purchase
    2. 99$ frame and Lens w/AR (selected frames only)
    3. Buy 1 pair, get 2nd pair 50% off

I hope these promotions will attract customers.

I agree! It also helps to have an attractive print. Go on shutterstock and pay $15 or so per image. Toss em into Photoshop and voila you just saved yourself hundreds and you look like one of the big guys! Check out what I did for our office: http://cheeksoptical.com/2014/04/30/ads-promotions/

We do a promotion where if a patients buys two complete pairs with lens upgrades (A/R, transitions, or polarized), they get the more inexpensive of the two frames free. It empowers patients to invest in prescription sunglasses like no other deal I've ever seen.

Also, consider looking at free lens upgrades. Buy one complete pair with A/R, get Transitions or Polarized FREE! "Free" is a magic word.
