Mounting a Silhouette 7395/7799 rimless frame

Hi, new member to the board. I am a dispensing optician and we do a lot of Silhouette jobs at my new practice. As Silhouette send us the mounts only, and then we receive cut lenses with drilled holes from our labs, it is often left to me to fit the lenses to the mounts.

I am struggling with 7395/7799 frames - I can fit them so it looks perfectly straight to the naked eye, sides look in line etc. But when the patient puts them on, one lens is considerably higher than the other. The natural solution to that I'd have thought would be to lower the angle of the side which is lower, but that doesn't seem to do much.

Are there any tips anyone can give me? Thanks!

Check to make sure the pins are inserted correctly into the bushings. If it is not lined up properly, they may tend to lean in the way inserted correctly. Make sure the bushing is tight against the back side and the temple pins insert straight into the bushings. Start it easily, then ease up on the pliers and check for alignment. Hope this helps.

Think you might be able to take a few pics of it? Also, check the RX, if the lenses look crooked but the RX is correct, changing the lenses may alter your axis. Check the tolerance on that. Id like to take a look at it. Whoever drilled it may have drilled the holes to high on one side.

Have you thought about your customers face ? Very seldom the ears or the eyes are on a straight level and have to be adjusted. Your frame might be perfectly aligned but will look crooked on your customers face.
