    Plastics used in sports sunglasses

    My associate has shown me inexpexpensive ports sunglasses from china hey are polarized and uv protected - not rx.

    I am trying to determine what type of plastic was likely used - it i snot PolyCarb

    Do you mind if I ask how you know they are not poly? For safety purposes the best options would be either poly or trivex but I would assume if they are inexpensive they are probably not trivex. Do they have an ASTM safety stamp anywhere on the frame? If not I would venture to guess that they are plastic.

    Custom PC lens

    they are not PC, we are trying to develop a PC lens for our custom frames - do you know of a good PC lens custom manufacturer?
