Hmmm, 1,800 of my friends have the opportunity to hear me sing... Has anyone ever watched "Worst Case Scenario?"

Night Train failed to mention that he played the guitar in the background...

Pete, your singing voice sounds very different than your speaking voice. Great job guys!

Is there no end to the talent here?! I am listening to the track at the moment, I'm into 'folky' music anyway, but my hubby isn't usually.I am just about to point out to him that his foot is tapping whilst reading his newspaper!

Apparently it's "quite catchy"! Sure to be a hit, see you on the MTV unplugged awards Pete and Nightrain:cheers:

I remember the first time I met Pete. We were in a group of several people talking about the guy who sang at church that day. Pete said, "Yeah...that was me!" I said something like. "Ummm...I don't think so....you have a small whiney kind of voice...the guy who sang today had a great voice."

Chad just got done playing this little tune for me.

    Hey Pete,

Chad started playing a song a few minutes ago and when it was done said "Guess who that was?" I had no clue so he told me it was Mr. Pete. I'm kind of with Night Train on this one, your voice is very different when you sing vs. when you talk :)

Anyway, I must say that you have one hell of a voice Mr. Pete.

    Take care,

    Darris C.

Well, gee thanks... (small to medium blush)

Actually, I take more pleasure in the fact that I wrote the song than in the actual singing (Mr. Night Train fails to mention that he composes music as a hobby and was requested to perform one of his pieces at the United Nations).

I think we had been dating for at least a few months when my wife first heard me sing. She didn't recognize the voice as being mine (she was somewhere else in the church and wondered who was singing). I suppose you could compare it to Gomer Pyle's singing vs. talking voice (although he had a much finer voice than mine).

Anyway, I enjoy singing (but this better be the LAST song Mr. NT posts or else!!!).
