VSP labs and the unity lens DTC??

Hey there optiboard goers. Has anyone heard that VSP is offering the unity lens direct to consumer or is this just a dirty lie? I heard through the grape vine that they may have a test group website set up? Is this just a fabrication? Am I insane? Was it my cheerios and not the grape vine I heard this from?

Why not? VSP already has an online store. Why not supply those patient's with VSP's proprietary lens?

I think, if im not mistaken, which I might be and probably am, vsp contacted patients after they purchased the lenses from an optical and told said patients they can purchase the lenses directly from VSP. I wish I could source this but I cant seem to find the source.
