    Love these frames!

This is my go to line for myopes who want a good fitting pair of suglasses which I'm sure you know is sometimes difficult to do because of edge thickness. You almost invariably end up with something that fits too small to provide much UV protection. Here's a Leader Low Rider with a -12.50 wrap comped 1.5 index polarized lens. I've done close to a dozen powers similar to this but this is the highest. Clients are blown away at the price considering they don't have to pay for high index or back side AR since no light comes in.

Explain please. I mean, depth of field is going to be limited in any prescription sun that blocks all UV light from entering the eye. The alternatives would obviously be contact lenses and a good fitting shield type of sun or something like a solar shield with the side windows worn over a regular rx pair.

I think he means peripheral field. They do look nice.

I don't think a -12.00 cares that much about perfect peripheral clarity in specs. They've never had it before, why would they truly let it be a dealbreaker now? I'm a -6.00 and I only look through areas of the lens where I can see. At -12.00, I might ask you what a peripheral field was. I think they look great!

Cover both sides of your head 1" past your eyeglasses and try to imagine if you would be comfortable driving and changing lanes, playing tennis, basketball or any other sport that requires peripheral perception (not vision).

Glasses are wonderful for people with that type of rx but barely pass the 120 degree field minimum for most states dmv considering they're made by z leader as safety glasses they should come with a warning (watch out for Buick on conveyor belt)

LOL, c'mon man. They're not safety glasses. They're sport sunwear with a 6 base adaptive mounting. It's the same FOV you'd get from a Ray Ban Daddy O.

This is a great solution for patients who like it. I really can't see how it's more complicated than that. They might not be the safest thing in the world for driving, but they seem like a good compromise.

Sure, fit a CL with a plano wraparound frame if you really want to. But I've done a couple of pairs of these, and the price point is pretty much unbeatable.
