I have a patient in a Mira Flex baby one and her parents are looking for a pair of sunglasses to fit over them. They tried some they ordered online and they said they looked like old lady sunglasses. The kid is a +19.00. I was wondering if anybody had any suggestions.
I would normally recommend a second pair of glasses and I spoke with them about it but they just cannot afford it so I am trying to give them as many options as possible.
Mizikal, it might be a long shot, but have you considered a custom clip for the child?
I don't think a custom clip will work with a +19.00

Reality is that any kind of "clip" on a child is going to make them look "old".
Why do they want a pair of sunglasses for a child that I dare say is not out in the sun much? A hat would look much more cute. Thats not saying sunglasses wouldn't.
For the most part unless there is a underlying reason, you want a child to build up a tolerance to bright light. Again, within reason. If you don't, as they become older they will become more and more photophobic.
