The problem that keeps occurring is lens slippage. Of course with AR's such as EX3 SHV and even ARC Hoya products. I do have the proper non-slip pads for these AR's however just about a week ago the lenses started to slip bad, anywhere from 10 to 15 deg. I have tried to clean the machine and re-grease it but the same problem is occurring. I have also adjusted the chuck pressures but the same problem continues. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
on high end ar's I use a pad on each side for insurance... that made the most difference for me.
don't under estimate the wear and tear trivex does to your wheels also... might be time to replace them
Was this a gradual off axis problem or did the 10-15 degrees appear all of sudden? I would verify 2 things. First make sure right side chuck is completely clamping against lens during processing. To test maybe run a hydro lens with 2 or even 3 blocking discs on backside. Second make sure right side clamp is rotating evening with left side. If there is any noticeable delay, this will cause excessive torque against block on lens.

I was advised once, to let the lens block cure a bit on the lens. 5-10 minutes. Since we started doing that, no more slippage.
