Yes, I am planning to get my NC license - didn't know what the requirements were in NC? Can I transfer my license and if so, how long do I need to be licensed?
I just spoke with the state board and the said that as long as you have been licensed and actively employed for the last four years you could apply for an exam waiver. You will still have to complete a six month internship but would not have to sit for the exam. The application can be found on the nc state board of opticians website. It is form 90-241-A.
