This is not a complaint (the thread title), but I'm the one that keeps track of the lab usage statistics for the office I work for and I've slowly been watching our glass percentage going higher and higher for about the past 2-3 years and as of last month our year to date totals have us doing more glass than hi-index plastic (it's only 1 more, but still). Are we the only office with increasing glass numbers?

The Amish don't come up here (except to go to Kmart, well actually they went to some other store in the Kmart plaza, Kmart just lets them water the horses, I wish I was joking) there's a optical in New Wilmington that is within 5 miles of 90% of the Amish on this side of the state.

Most of the labs and dispensaries that I speak with are seeing more glass. Maybe the patients are becoming somewhat more enlightened.

It's about the same as everything else "specialty" 10 Days-3 Weeks (if right the first time)
Right now, I'm running on the average of 3 days after I have the frame in hand, sometimes next day, depending on the number of jobs in the lab.
Shouldn't take anymore than 3-5 days (unless they don't know what they are doing).
This is Davis Vision the trained monkey dies every few days (this is the story I tell myself to rationalize the work)

If you're sending it to the Newtown Square lab find out if it's actually going to Plainview for processing, after we found out it did and got Davis to send us labels to go direct to Plainview it took off a week in shipping time (because it was taking 2 days each way between Philly and Plainview)
