Opening in November, Eye Candy Optical offers the best brands and styles in international eyewear. Fun, fashionable, and unique frames combined with finest lenses is the Eye Candy philosophy. We STRONGLY believe eyewear is not only a vision correction device but a VITAL fashion accessory. From mild to wild, Eye Candy Optical offers simply amazing glasses for men, women, and teens. We have created a cool, hip, and edgy optical store that is unlike any in the in the region. This is a store where people come for exams and eyeglasses not because they have to but because they WANT to “SEE and BE SEEN”.

Amazing glasses with incorrect lenses do nothing for our customers or our image. All of our mutual clients / patients need to be able to see as clearly as possible. This is why it is so important that we have YOU, the right Doctor!
The opportunity:
Subleasing Optometrist – We are seeking a licensed Doctor(s) of Optometry who shares our entrepreneurial spirit and sees tremendous potential in being affiliated with a high-end fashion forward retail eyewear store. We will combine your outstanding eye and patient care with a retail store created to furnish the best artisan frames and quality lenses to its customers.
Eye Candy Optical offers you the opportunity to operate a private practice where you can establish your own patient services, fee structures, and revenue streams. You also have the benefit of working in a location with a steady stream of potential patients seeking out the unique eyewear we offer and who will be referred by our staff to you.
Best of all, at Eye Candy Optical you can start or run a new business without the capital expense. Our Exam Room contains a brand new and “top of the line” fully equipped lane, including all of the necessary pretest and exam equipment. You rent the equipment and have full access to the exam room. Additionally, we can work with you to schedule appointments and help you set up your billing system.
What we are looking for in a Doctor:
We are seeking an energetic, confident, and professional Doctor just like YOU. We strive to provide our customers with THE BEST optical exam and shopping experience in Greater Cleveland. In order to provide this experience our Doctor must be exceptional in their professional care and their ability to connect with patients.
In terms of hours, we require the Doctor to be present in the prime retail hours. This includes Saturdays and some evenings. While this opportunity will benefit your business in every way, we do need a collaboration and partnership with our Doctor on hours of operation to ensure a convenient customer experience.
The special qualities we look for in a Doctor:
· Simply put …be an OUTSTANDING Doctor.
· Be licensed and in good standing in the State of Ohio
· Have all necessary insurance in place (malpractice).
· Must be willing to accept vision insurance.
· Have an extreme passion for your profession.
· Be professional, personable, and communicate well with all patients and the Eye Candy Optical team.
· Have the ability to multitask in a fast paced environment.
· Keep cool under pressure.
· Be a self-starter.
· Take in and active interest in getting to know your patients as people.
· BE NICE. We are nice people. We are never arrogant, pushy, or condescending.
