I looked everywhere to get a set. Couldn't find one. Now I just use the prisms for the Doctor's set. Better than nothing.

I've got an original set of 2D, 4D, and 6D that are probably at least 40 years old, in like-new condition, hardly ever used. PM me for pricing details.

I called the owner before I posted the link and he said he had prism rings in stock for B&L Vertometers.

Would you like me to order them for you?

After all, I don't have anything better to do except move my office upstairs (after 32 years) by the end of the month.

    Your welcome.

I'm not retiring, I'm future-proofing. I'll semi-retire/part-time at some point, probably sooner than later, but I'll never stop working, as long as I'm able.

    Vertometer Prism Rings

I make many of the parts necessary to maintain the B&L Vertometer as well as the ones that were later made Reichert. I would be interested in making the prism rings but I have no experience working with glass. If some member of this board can make the actual glass prisms, then I could made the rings and mount the prisms in the rings. I have drawings and specification for the prisms. They measure 15.9mm in diameter, no base curve, just flat glass with an angle ground into the. Anybody interested?
