    Harry Jilson, Where Art Thou?

    Harry,
Where, oh where have you been? I hope all is well. Just seems like you have been awfully scarce as of late!:D

I guess he is so overwhelmed by receiving the award that the tears are keeping him away from the board.

Heeeere, Harry, Harry, Harry.... Here boy! (You know, maybe that's why no one names their dog "Harry"- that just doesn't sound right rolling off the tongue.)

Maybe he's so depressed over the Pats first loss in 12 games that he just can't bring himself to post! Don't worry, Harry- the Pats will make it to the AFC Championship Game again (only to lose to the Colts, but you had your run last year).

I've been away for the past....

I've been away for the past few days. We've had a death in the family requiring time away, the OAM meeting where I picked up 2 CE's courtesy of Essilor , and the afore mentioned award, and yesterdays board of registration meeting where I was awarded a citation from the Massachusetts legislature and a plaque from my fellow board members and staff. My appointment has expired but I have volunteered to stay on until we have completed the revision of the rules and regs. Its been one heck of a week so far and I'm off again tomorrow for the memorial service. Thats a lot on the plate of a one man operation!

I thank you all for your concern and best wishes. It means a lot to me as I hold you all in high regard.

    Harry,
Welcome back, but won't you even nibble on the Pats dig (says the fan who is relatively confident his Colts will win this week)?

BTW, congrats on the award (apparently, a lot of people hold you in pretty high regard), sorry to hear about the family loss, and good luck catching back up on your work (oh, and the large font was a nice touch)!

    Prediction.!!!!

Pete, as you are well aware, I have avoided making any predictions concerning the World Champions. I will, however, make an exception to this rule tonight.

When my son was a senior in High School-about13-14 years ago, the division championship came down to the Miami-Pats game at the end of the season. On the Sunday of the game that put the Pats in that position my son and I were due for dinner at my mother in law's in Sandwich.I forget who they played that day but they won the game and Erik and I were really some excited. Before we could leave he had to make a sign to put in the rear window of the car for the 13 mile ride down the mid-cape. The sign said it all......and I'll repeat it for my prediction.

SQUISH THE FISH!!!!! end of statement!

    Have fun Sunday PM!

    Oh Well! you can't.....

Oh Well! you can't win them all!!! Thats the major reason I rarely make predictions on sporting events......On any given Sunday.....etc.

Don't feel so bad, Harry... my Colts barely made it past the lowly Bengals!

Now I'm looking forward to being home in Pennsylvania next weekend. Nothing could make the trip sweeter than a Nittany Lion victory over the Wolverines (not that I'm predicting a victory... its just too hard to tell which PSU team will show up on Saturday).

As I sit here watching "Monday Night Countdown," however, I'll say it once again- "Win or lose, its surely the most wonderful time of the year!"
