First thing this morning I had a conversation on the phone with a contact lens patient who was unhappy with her new multi focal trials. I suggested she come in and we check things out and her response was..."Yeah, your office hours don't work for me. So we need to arrange to meet at lunch at my office since I can't miss work. You can set up a time with my secretary."
Uhmmm yeah...no.
After lunch I went to help a sweet lil old lady out of the exam room to walk her up to optical. Still in the chair she says, "Oh I wanted to ask the doc one more thing" I told her the doc had already started with the next patient but I would be happy to pass along a question, or perhaps I could help her myself. She then proceeded to pull her shirt up and show me the spots that had recently appeared on her cleavage. I was taken aback but managed to stop her when she started tugging on the waist of her pants to show me further. She wanted to ask the doc if there was a cream she could get for that while she was there. One stop shopping, eh?
Some days you just gotta shake your head. So thankful tomorrow is Friday!
